Sky Surfing Doodles

I was talking to my friend about skydiving yesterday, and it really made me wanna go. If there's something that I'd really like to do is just to have my body free fall through the sky. One show that quenches my thirst of flying through the sky is Eureka 7. Hence my inspiration for these late night doodles. If only those things were real, I would totally do it!

Sunflower Project

Since some of my classes and internship applications are finally wrapping up, I feel so much lighter than before and am ready to work on another personal project. This time, I wanna do it based off of Monet's "Sunflower Garden", which is shown below. I absolutely love this piece and I am so happy that it's only a drive away from me. I've also been looking at Kevin Dart's artwork, which is really breathtaking.

 Of course, I'm not sure if this project will survive or not, but for now I feel really excited about it.

Back in the Field

Sorry for the lack of posts these days. I've been busy hacking away my portfolio, so I will be back to my regular posts of doodles and such. 

I just discovered some beautiful artwork by Kevin Dart, and it seriously blew me away. I got really inspired and made me wanna experiment with some brush textures. 

Back when I was in highschool and middle school, me and my mom would always drive up to Wisconsin or Indiana to go apple picking and I would always love to see those yellow fields.
